Older, White, Liberal Malcontent Maureen Dowd Agonizes Over “Older and Mostly White Malcontent” Protesters
Someone really needs to break the news to Maureen Dowd: She’s white!
Intellectually bankrupt and perpetually angry, Dowd is completely unable to write a column without conspicuously injecting race into the mix. Bemoaning the inability of The One to marshal his army of drones to the cause of socialized medicine, Dowd makes the following observation:
Instead of a multicultural tableau of beaming young idealists on screen, we see ugly scenes of mostly older and white malcontents, disrupting forums where others have come to actually learn something. Instead of hope, we get swastikas, death threats and T-shirts proclaiming “Proud Member of the Mob.”
Beside the obvious question “what the hell does the race of the participants have to do with anything?”, one truly wonders if Dowd is genuinely aware of her pasty whiteness.
Dowd also proves she’s incapable of even the most cursory level of research. The “swastikas”, it turns out, started showing up courtesy of left-wing protesters who think Obama isn’t doing enough to pattern our health-care system off of the old Soviet Union bread distribution model.
